Crock Pot Rotisserie Style Chicken

  • whole chicken
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  1. Remove giblets, then wash inside and outside of chicken with water and pat dry. Spray crock pot with olive oil and place 4-5 foil balls in the bottom to elevate the chicken (or just use cut up onion, carrots, celery).
  2. Mix seasonings together.
  3. Place chicken in crock pot and rub seasonings all over the chicken.
  4. Cook 7-8 hours on low.
  5. To crisp skin, gently remove from crock pot and place in baking dish. Either broil until skin is crispy (or cook in a 450 oven for 15-20 minutes).
