Stitch Fix Review
|February 9, 2015||Filled under Life|
I just received my first box from Stitch Fix! I have been wanting to do this for quite some time, and finally bit the bullet! :)
Read below for my review!
I was so excited to see this box waiting for me. For those that aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling service that you can subscribe to at whatever frequency you would like. You fill out your preferences, and can even link your Pinterest page! A stylist prepares 5 items for you, and you can keep everything (and get 25% off the items!) or keep nothing (and sacrifice the $20 styling fee). Whatever you decide to purchase, the $20 styling fee goes towards that purchase.
The box comes with a postage-paid return envelope to return whatever you don’t want to keep.
Everything is nicely wrapped up and the packaging is very pretty!
Here is what I was sent!
First was this knit scarf. I decided not to keep this item because I have a TON of scarves and knit ones aren’t my favorite.
Next was this asymmetrical cardigan. I am not keeping this one either. I love the idea of the asymmetrical look, but it was more fitted than I would prefer.
Third was this olive dolman top. I don’t love this look…the sleeves end up looking like little wings….at least on me, so I am not keeping this top. ;)
Here’s a close up of the color/design. I wanted to love this!
Next is this top, which I am keeping! It’s not a pattern I would probably have picked for myself, but I liked it on and part of the reason I decided to try Stitch Fix is to try new things!
Here is a close up of the pattern. It navy and the circles are a light mint color.
It has tab sleeves with pretty buttons:
The last item in the box was a pair of skinny jeans. I wanted to love these as well, however I must have bigger than normal calves because they were way too tight!! So, back they go.
Even though I am only keeping 1 item, I plan to do another Stitch Fix soon! The clothes are all good quality, and over time I think the stylist would get to know my style even better. You can leave detailed feedback on each box, so they can adjust for the next one.
Are you ready to give it a try? I would love for you to use my referral code below! I would receive a credit to my Stitch Fix account if you use my code, so it’s much appreciated! :)
Have you tried Stitch Fix yet? What did you think of it?
