Girls Weekend in the Northwoods
|October 2, 2014||Filled under Life|
I spent a long weekend at one of my favorite places on earth, Camp du Nord, which is about 5 hours north from where I live. It’s near the Boundary Waters here in MN. I’ve pretty much spent at least a week there every summer since I was a kid, and I love getting up there in the fall, winter or spring as well to experience the activities the different seasons offer.
I’ve posted recaps of some of my other trips up there, which you can find HERE.
This time, I drove up with my MIL and SIL for a Women’s Retreat. Here was our cabin, it’s super cute!
There were so many activities to choose from: paddles, hikes, cooking classes, arts & crafts, massages, yoga, pilates, qijong, enneagram and many more! And the food in the dining hall is always so good….and plentiful! :)
The fall colors were pretty much at peak, and the weather was warmer than it normally is at the end of September, so we had some beautiful days there. The pictures really don’t even do it justice!!
When we arrived at our cabin, we found lots of chocolate, tea and hot cocoa. What a treat!
Here’s me with my SIL and MIL.
Here’s some more pictures from our weekend!
Thanks for reading about my weekend!!
