Mint & Pink Wedding Shower
|May 3, 2013||Filled under Decorating, DIY|
My youngest sister is getting married this summer, and over the weekend we threw a big wedding shower for her!
The wedding colors are mint and pink, so that theme was carried through to the shower as well. I had such a fun time scouring Pinterest for the inspiration on decoration and food!
What did we do before Pinterest?! (by the way, you can find me on Pinterest HERE)
Without further ado, here is Cate’s shower, in all its glory!
Those favor boxes (found at Party City) have these to DIE for Cinnamon Sugar Almonds in them!
We did a Sparkling Pink punch, Cucumber/Lemon Spa water, and coffee.
These French Toast Muffins were really good, and we also had Honey Butter that made them even more awesome!
Bacon Wrapped Potatoes….because bacon makes everything better! :)
Individual fruit and yogurt parfaits, with a side of granola for those that wanted it.
Stuffed tomatoes. These were yummy little morsels!
This spinach salad is amazing and has macadamia nuts, kiwi and raspberries in it!
Assorted bars for dessert.
We made both big and small pom poms. Check out my tutorial to see how we made them!
The shower was held at a community center, which was ideal because it had a full kitchen plus no one had to clean their house before and after! There were about 40 people, so it was a pretty big group!
Here I am with the bride-to-be, my
baby youngest sister Caitlin! P.S. She just started a blog, so go show her some love HERE!
It was a GORGEOUS day! We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather and it was great to be surrounded by lots of great food, fun, family and friends!
