Quick, Simple Spring Decorating

Anyone else ready for Spring?? I am so ready for the snow to melt away for good!
Even thought it’s not technically Spring yet, I couldn’t help but put out some “Spring-y” decorations. I keep it pretty simple as far as seasonal decorations go. Less to store, dust and put away! :)
Here is the wreath I hang on our front door. I have a bunch of DIY wreaths I’ve pinned on Pinterest, so one of these days I hope to have something new to show you! (I would love for you to follow me on Pinterest!)
Next, I switched out the ribbons on my candles that I keep on the mantle. Here is what they looked like before:

Speaking of my mantle, we have lived here 10 years and have never had anything hanging over the mantle! I guess I just never knew what I wanted there. This is what my mantle normally looks like:
Quite a bare spot, eh?
Now I have added a little something fun! See?
What do you think? I found the metal piece at Kohl’s 50% off. I added the owl too, which I found at Michael’s.

Another thing I switch out seasonally are vase fillers that I put in 2 glass urns that sit on my piano. Here’s the Spring look, which are mossy rocks and twig balls.
The last thing I did was add this vase with grass in it to the top of a dresser in the master bedroom. I found this at Kohl’s as well.
So that’s about it! Like I said, I certainly don’t go overboard!

Love the wall hanging! I had grass on my side table last spring. It should have been trimmed (oops) and looked kinda sad after we went on spring break vacation and didn’t water it for a week. I like your decor, great post!

Over from Kathe’s. Love your wreath and that was a great idea you added over the mantle. I am looking for some new ideas for my mantle. Wanting to get rid of some thingies since I just have too much. I will probably use your candle idea. blessings
