Random Things About Me

I thought I would share some random things about me! I love learning about the “person behind the blog”, so I figured it was my turn!
Here we go!
1. I married my high school sweetheart.
2. I LOVE camping and canoeing, especially in the Boundary Water Canoe Area.
3. My first “real” job was working at Target.
4. I played the piano, clarinet, violin and viola…but the piano is the only instrument I could play now without sounding HORRIBLE.
5. I have chronic, daily headaches and migraines…but they are better than they were 3 years ago!
6. My first car was a Chevy Cavalier.
7. I am the oldest grandchild on my mom’s side.
8. I do not like things such as roller coasters or skiing because I don’t feel in control…and I like to be in control. :)
9. I am a first-born. See #8 above.
10. I weigh half as much as I did 6 years ago. Maybe I’ll tell that story some day.
11. I try at least 1 new recipe a week. Only recipes that get thumbs-up from at least 3 out of 4 of my family get to stay!
12. I just got my ears re-double pierced again. I felt very old going into Claire’s to have it done. :)
13. I make TO-DO lists all the time! I love crossing things off a list. Sometimes when I am making a list I even add things I just did just so I can cross them off, lol!
14. I have a weakness for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Might be more of an addiction,, actually! Pretty sure it’s time to break that addiction….
15. I have two boys, Devin and Kaden.

Hi Krysta,I loved ur random things about me,so cool and interesting!:) First of all,u have a beautiful family,and I love the top pic,the water’s so gorgeous and breathtaking,wow! :) Thank u for being brave enough to share,I am so shy and introverted by nature,and hate talking about myself,but I’ll make an exception this time lol :) Btw,I love ur #8,that is so me! lol :)
Ok,here goes…
1.I was born and raised in L.A.,California.
2.I am 46 yrs old,married Mom,with two gorgeous kids,my daughter’s 24,my son’s 18,soon to be 19 on the 24th :) my handsome hubby and last but not least,our beautiful tuxedo kitty,”Kg”
3.I come out of a fam of nine sibs,six boys and three girls.I am the youngest of the three girls,and the sixth child.
4.Both my parents are deceased :(
5.I love helping others,I love sharing,and often feel useless if I don’t feel needed.I am goofy by nature,I love to laugh and make others laugh. I was the class clown in Elementary school,which got me many swats with the paddle of doom ouchy! :( My butt still hurts! Lol
6.I love nature and animals,and Old school music and nostalgia from the 70′s and 80′s.
7.I love the beach and sunsets.
8. I have never learned how to drive,or flown on a plane,I am so afraid of flying and heights,sometimes,i feel like such a loser :(
9.I am very hard on myself when I fail at something and I have a hard time forgiving myself when I do.
10.I hate having regrets,and i have many…I regret not finishing college,I regret being afraid to try new things because of fear of failure and ridicule.I have low self-esteem,which I am working on…I regret not keeping in touch with friends and family,I have a tendency of shutting down a lot,and not communicating for long periods of time,just a bad habit of mine…
11.I suffer from frequent bouts with depression and anxiety,mostly stemming from my childhood abuse and other painful events in my lifetime.

Aw,thanx,Krysta,ur so kind :) I hate it when i share,sometimes,I think it’s an overshare,or TMI,hahaha! I dunno bout u,but after i’ve shared some rather personal stuff about myself,which is rare…I always re-read it,and squint,and think…ah,why did I share that? Lol :) Ah,anyways…I’m so glad u love 80′s music,yay! It was some of the best and most memorable,still listen to it today! :) Have a blessed one :) ((Hugs))
